Frequently Asked Questions Print E-mail
Q: WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR ME TO VOLUNTEER AT FAITH LANDMARKS MINISTRIES?

A: You must first be a born-again Christian, a member at Faith Landmarks Ministries, and ready to commit to whatever department, its requirements and guidelines with devotion and a commitment to excellence set forth in their standards as a department.

Q: WHY ARE THERE DIFFERENT REQUIREMENTS FOR DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS?

A: There are certain requirements that FLM must adhere to by law, such as background checks for all Children's ministry volunteers and Security. There are special requirements for the Music Ministry as well that are only applicable to that department due to the necessary functions of that department. You may find out more from the Department Head or Coordinator of those departments as to how you can become involved.

Q: IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW MANY DEPARTMENTS I CAN VOLUNTEER IN?

A: There is no limit at this time, however, we do not recommend that anyone volunteer in more departments that they can serve effectively and diligently, and also attend the main services in the sanctuary. If someone overcommits themselves to the detriment of the department and their general attendance to FLM, we will ask them to prayerfully consider which departments they should step down from so that their service continues to be invaluable and without detriment to themselves or the ministry.
